Hebrew Crash Course

Learn Torah & Hebrew from anywhere

We kick-off with an engaging crash-course in Hebrew that’s tailored to students with little to no experience. Starting with the Aleph Bet and essential vowel sounds, we build a strong foundation for reading Hebrew fluently and confidently. Within 4-8 weeks, students can read Hebrew with ease, setting the stage for mastering prayers, chanting their Torah portion, and feeling connected to the language of Jewish tradition.

Make Bar Mitzvah Learning Fun and Meaningful

Trope Dance

Learn Hebrew, Torah Trope, and Jewish Traditions

Learning Trope, the musical notation of the Torah, becomes an exciting experience through our unique dance-based approach. By incorporating movement, we bring a sense of levity to what is typically a challenging process. Students learn to identify and chant trope, reinforcing their knowledge through interactive flashcards and coordinated steps. This dynamic method makes the process fun and engaging. This allows students to break out of the norm of frontal learning and commit to memory through movement.

D’var Torah

As part of their journey, each student will study their portion and find connection to their own life experience and what lesson they want to carry forward. This is most commonly captured in a D’var Torah speech given at their ceremony. We’ve also had our students extend their creativity by creating an art piece, composing a song, or writing a poem. The goal is to help each student connect with their Jewish identity and articulate what their B’Mitzvah truly means to them.

Torah Chanting

Chanting from the Torah is a powerful and transformative experience. We guide students through their Torah portions with personalized instruction, transitioning them from call-and-response to fully independent chanting. While learning their parasha, students also learn the direct English translation to explore its rich historical and cultural background. This comprehensive approach allows students to connect deeply to their Torah portion and understand its full significance.
